Pang-jo Chun
Pang-jo Chun is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo since 2019.
Pang-jo develops research in the field of AI and ICT applications in infrastructure operation and maintenance. His publications include the utilization of Deep Learning algorithms to perform automatic inspections of critical concrete structures in Japan which have deteriorated throughout the years.
Having completed his PhD at Wayne State University, USA; He participated in a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Yonsei University, South Korea. He earned his BS and MS in Civil Engineering at the University of Tokyo and held the position of Associate Professor at Ehime University since 2016 until 2019.
