Intelligence, Informatics and Infrastructure is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published yearly online by the AI committee of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) .

Overview

Intelligence, Informatics and Infrastructure is an international Journal founded in 2020 by the JSCE AI Committee. Intelligence, Informatics and Infrastructure aims to share knowledge on the application of information technology (IT), including AI and data science, to civil engineering. IT can be utilized in a wide range of fields, such as structural mechanics, material mechanics, traffic engineering, environmental engineering, hydrology, and soil mechanics. One of our major goals is to promote collaboration among these fields.

  • Bridge damage detection results

Bridge damage detection results from deep learning. Visualizing the location highlighted by AI makes it easier for humans to understand the damage status.

  • Point Cloud Measurements of a Bridge

Point cloud measurements of a bridge. By detecting shape incompatibilities with the designed CAD drawing, it is possible to detect any abnormalities promptly.

  • Optimization of the construction site by digital twin simulation of shovel cars and ground

Construction site optimization by digital twin simulation of shovel cars and ground. Even small details such as soil particle motion can be reproduced.
